In high school I tutored some students in my math classes. Math has always been one of those subjects that came to me easily. My senior year I also got involved in an after-school tutoring program, where I helped children who were learning English with their homework. I also have always helped my two younger sisters with their homework, and helping others to learn comes naturally to me. Since I am majoring in English I am able to help teach English, especially the writing aspect. My minor in Spanish will aid me in teaching Spanish. I am especially good with vocabulary expansion and teaching verb differences. My spoken Spanish is good, but it is not my forte.
