Music Major - vocal performance, music education, piano, with a possible Minor in Business at Saint Cloud State University. Im a freshman and my GPA so far is in good standing and i am working towards being in the Honors Students program next year.
Experience
I scored a 28 on my SAT test the first time around. I have never formally tutored anyone but i have done plenty of informal and on the side study sessions. I would love to be a tutor because i am a very sociable person and i love meeting new people and helping them out with anything they need! I especially love teaching music skills and classes because that is my major but it is one of my passions and i love to get people excited about what goes on behind the music! I also really do love teaching and being a tutor will give me great experience and a great idea of what a Music education major and degree would be like. I want to work towards my Doctorate in music so that would allow me to teach at a college level. Through out high school i have taken many history/social studies classes, plenty of music experience with various choirs, and i have been a teaching assistant with an 8th grade english class. So far in college i have music theory, music in world cultures, piano, choir, philosophy and critical reasoning and an analytical writing class. All very well rounded courses that keep me equally well-rounded.

Hobbies
I love to be outdoors all the time. Summer and fall are the best seasons because they allow you to be outside comftorably. I love to run, swim, rollerblade, walk, and read outside. Anything with people is always a plus for me! Im a big people person and i am very sociable! I also am a big fan of art! I took lots of art classes and won awards for some of my pieces entered in a state wide competition for 2 years in row. Anyting creative is my game! Of course i am a big fan of music and i am always looking for new things in the music world and learning how to play piano is my recent endeavor!
