I volunteer at Kidstop and have been a teachers assistant for kindergarten and first grade where I participated in group activities and tutoring. I assisted students with any questions or problems they had on assignments or during class. I want to be a tutor to make kids feel confident and comfortable about themselves. I think it would be a good experience for my future in counseling and to gain experience and knoweldge in working with children of all ages with academic questions and struggles. I have taken many classes in child development, psychology, and special education. I have taken one class in American Sign Language.
